Warren Buffett, the 6th richest man in the world with a net worth of over $147 billion has a McDonald’s Gold Card that gives him free meals for life at any McDonald’s in Omaha, Nebraska, his home town. The Oracle of Omaha’s love for McDonald’s reflects his modest lifestyle. He has lived in the same Omaha house for 65 years. He’s been known to bring his family to the burger joint for Christmas dinner, and normally spends no more than $3.17 on breakfast. He once used coupons to pay for his Mickey D’s in Hong Kong. His buddy, fellow billionaire Bill Gates, also known for his frugal habits, has his own McDonald’s Gold Card, but his is valid worldwide, whereas Buffett’s is only valid in Omaha.
